Mary Anne Scott (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Mary Anne Scott was born February 1, 1982 in Lebanon, Missouri to Jonathon Brake and Gail Perkins Brake. She passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024 in Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri.
Mary grew up in Lebanon and was a graduate of Lebanon High School in 2000. Following graduation, she moved to Springfield. She currently was living at Eden Village and loved it there.
She professed her faith in Christ and attended Faith Community Church.
On October 14, 2023, she was united in marriage to Jimmie Scott.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Mary is survived by her husband, Jimmie, of Springfield, Missouri; her mother, Gail Salsman and her husband Nick of Lebanon, Missouri; her father, Jonathon Brake and his wife Mary of Lebanon, Missouri; two sisters, D’Anna Meadows and her husband Clifton of Lebanon, Missouri and Sarah Koehler and her husband Robert of Springfield, Missouri; her brother, Jonathan Zane Brake and his wife Olivia of Lebanon, Missouri; three nieces, Rylee, Brighton and Shiloh; and two nephews, Dexter and Link.
Mary enjoyed crocheting and green was her favorite color. She really liked celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. She loved her dogs Brutus and Tank.
Her life rotated around her family, especially her nieces and nephews. They brought her so much joy and she enjoyed watching them grow and develop their own personalities.
Mary was a loving wife, daughter, sister and aunt. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Services will be private.
