Mary Belle Walker (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Mary Belle Walker, 96, was born December 7, 1929, to Ray and Erma Vest of Polk, Missouri and passed peacefully on March 11, 2026. She married Velbert Walker on December 31, 1947, for a total of 78 years. Their life together was built on love, faith, and devotion to family. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, sister Neta Curl, brothers Charles Vest and Gilbert Olinger, her sister-in-law Ella Mae Vest, brothers-in-law Vernon Davison, Durward Walker, and Bueford Curl, and a great-grandson Isaac Carrier. Mary is survived by her husband, Velbert, daughters, Carolyn Carrier (David) of Lockwood, Vesta Seiner (Brent) of Bolivar, her cherished five grandsons, Harry Carrier (Tara), Chuck Carrier (Jackie), Heath Seiner (Lori), Derrick Seiner (Brienne), and Nick Seiner (Danielle). Twelve great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren. Being a grandma was the greatest joy of her life, and nothing made her prouder than watching them grow. Her sisters-in-law Martha Davison and Ada Lee Walker, and a host of nephews and nieces. She enjoyed embroidering and made all five grandsons quilts that included the 50 states with the state flower and bird. Other interests of hers included gardening and flowers, reading, and word searches. She also enjoyed road trips with friends and family. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16 at Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar at 10:00 A.M. with memorial service following at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow the service at Payne Cemetery at Polk. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CMH Hospice Services. Her family would like to thank CMH Hospice and Parkview Health Care Facility for the wonderful care that they provided. She will be greatly missed.
