Mary Williams' Obituary
Mary Ellen Williams, age 86 of Marble Falls, TX, formerly of Corpus Christi, TX, died December 25, 2009 after a short illness. She was born on August 1, 1923 in Springfield, MO, the daughter of Earl Brumley and Rose (Beard) Brumley. Mary Ellen married Gentry Williams on May 17, 1945 in the First Christian Church in Corpus Christi, and resided there till 1978. She was a longtime employee of Coastal States Gas Producing Company, which later became Valero, and also an employee of F. M. Wiley Accounting Firm. In 1978 she and her husband retired to Ingleside on the Bay. A few years after her husband passed away in 1984 she moved to Arlington to be near her daughter and son-in-law. She lived in Missouri while they were in Egypt and then when they moved to Marble Falls she moved here also. Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Sue Ellen Hearn and husband Larry of Marble Falls, grandson, Chris Hearn and wife Wendy of Riverside, Connecticut, Gentry Hearn of College Station, TX; granddaughter Lisa Ellen Hearn of Marble Falls, great grandsons, Jackson Hearn and Blake Hearn and a brother Wilson Brumley of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gentry Williams, two sisters and one brother. Her cremains are being sent to the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar where burial will be in the Morrisville Cemetery later this spring.
