Matthew L. Dodds (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Matthew Lloyd Dodds, son of Arthur E. Dodds, Sr. and MaryAnne Dodds, was born September 13, 1980, in St. Petersburg, Florida. He departed this life Tuesday, December 13, 2022, in an accident at his home, near Falcon, Missouri, at the age of forty-two years and three months.
On September 19, 2015, he was united in marriage to Daisy D. Lorenzo, and they welcomed two wonderful children to their home.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Lance Dodds and a sister, Kathryn Dodds.
Matthew is survived by his wife, Daisy, of the home; his two children, Benjamin Dodds and Alyssa Dodds, both of the home; His mother, MaryAnne Dodds of Falcon, Missouri; his father, Arthur Dodds, Sr. of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister, Adele Berry and her husband, Kevan of Lebanon, Missouri and his brother, Arthur Dodds, Jr. of Falcon, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
Matthew moved to Missouri with his family when he was one year-old. He was raised in the Richland, Lebanon and Sleeper areas before moving to Falcon, Missouri in 2007. He and his brother started a Outdoor Wood & Coal Furnace Company in 2000, installing, manufacturing, designing, and selling furnaces and parts they have owned and operated Dodds Brothers Wholesale Supply and Distributing, LLC in Falcon.
Matthew was very proud of the business he and his brother, Arthur, had started and he worked hard to build it up. He was very dedicated to his work, and his family, and was proud of his accomplishments.
He had traveled to the Philippines, Dubai UAE, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Canada, extensively across the U.S.A. and El Salvador for his business and was doing all he could to see it succeed. He was also a farmer and really enjoyed being on the farm and taking care of the farm.
Matthew accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior when he was only five years old. He was currently attending, Calvary Chapel at Lake of the Ozarks and Happy Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Lebanon.
He absolutely loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them.
Matthew will be dearly missed by his family and many friends and know the memories they have of Matthew will be treasured for many years to come.
