Maude Corum (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Maude M. Preston-Corum, 90, gracefully resigned her spirit into the hand of Jesus on July 27, 2013.
Maude’s daughters, Sondra and Debby, were at her side.
Maude was born on April 3, 1923, in Webster County, Missouri, to Oscar and Katherine Letterman Myers.
Maude had an unwavering love for family and friends. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her much joy.
Her caring thoughtful manner was generously highlighted by her wittiness and straightforward wisdom.
Maude enjoyed the fellowship and music she found at the Laclede County Cowboy Church when her health permitted.
She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Edwill, Roscoe, and Otto; her late husband, Richard H. Preston, three of their five children, William Richard, Linda Sue, and Mary Elizabeth; one son-in-law, Leland Hufft; and one nephew, Darrell Cook.
Maude is survived by two daughters, Sondra Hufft, and Deborah Hancik, and her husband, Robert; one sister, Ruth Cook; six grandchildren, Melissa Medlock, and her husband, Adam, Tracy Millsap, and her husband, Robbie, Katy Hicks, and her husband, Jay, Eric Adams, and his wife, Angela, Chad Hufft, and his wife, Shelli, and Chantra Hunziker, and her husband, Kim; ten great-grandchildren, Kayla Millsap, Mallory Hicks, Paige Millsap, Hayley Hicks, Sydney Hicks, Mason Hufft, Chase Hufft, Tara Adams, Hagar Hufft, and Thad Adams; one niece, Marcia Agan, and her husband, Roger, and one nephew, Harold Cook, and his wife, Carol.
No memorial services are planned, but arrangements are under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, donations to New Life House may be made through the funeral home.
