Maxine D. Hyden (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Maxine “Bubbles” Delores Hyden, of Tunas, Missouri, formerly of Redwood Valley, California passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the age of 84 with her family by her side.
Maxine was born in California on January 2, 1937 to the late Walter and Elizabeth Beckwith.
She was united in marriage to the late Hoy M. Hyden.
Maxine will be greatly missed by her five generations of family, for she was greatly proud of, which includes five daughters, Maxine Miller and husband Ken and Joyce Wingert of Missouri, Jeannie Goates, Cherrie Idica and husband Tom, Glenda Lopez and husband Fernando of California, and one son Steven Shields and wife Karen of Oregon; one brother Hank Beckwith and wife Stella, one sister Jo Thomas of California; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other extended family and dear friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Shields; one brother, four sisters and son in-laws Tawny S. and Terry Wingert.
Maxine lit up the room, gaining her the nick name “Bubbles” from all her friends and family. She had a great passion for gardening, crafting and loved the outdoors and being at the ocean in her home state of California.
Cremation rites are being accorded by the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo, Missouri.
