Megan Mackenzie Coughran (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Megan Mackenzie Coughran was born to Melinda Watkins on September 30, 1989 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was taken much too soon at the age of thirty-four.
Megan grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Putnum City North High School. She continued her education at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. She lived in Oklahoma until moving to Ozark, Missouri last year. She was employed and collaborating with a former classmate, creating interior design for clients in Kansas City, Missouri.
Megan is survived by her mother, Melinda Watkins of Ozark, Missouri; her aunts, Karen Rickert and her husband Rick of Springfield, Missouri and Darlene Bradshaw of Lebanon, Missouri; and several cousins and friends; and her two dogs, Jewels and Harley.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dr. James and Virginia Smith.
Megan had a big personality and loved being outdoors. She really enjoyed going to the lake and boating, swimming and fishing. She loved painting and was very creative. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a big heart. She loved her puppy dogs and they loved her.
Megan will be remembered for her energy and her infectious laugh. She could light up any room with her smile and personality. She will be so very missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Graveside services for Megan Mackenzie Couchran will be Friday, March 15, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Mount Rose Memorial Park. Friends may call at their convenience.
