Melissa Adele Maxon (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Melissa Adele Maxon, daughter of James and Linda Helms, was born September 14, 1976, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. She departed this life Sunday, April 26, 2020, in her home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of forty-three years, seven months, and twelve days.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Helms, and her husband, James, of Lebanon, Missouri; a daughter, Sierra Maynard, and her husband, Kenneth, of Phillipsburg, Missouri; two grandchildren, Axle and Averi Maynard; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Melissa was raised in the Crocker and Waynesville area and graduated from high school. She had lived in Lebanon, Missouri for the last twenty-two years. She had worked at Pizza Hut before going to work for Dairy Queen in Lebanon. She enjoyed her work and liked doing drive-thru sales and service.
She had attended First Assembly of God Church in Lebanon.
She loved her cat “Kiddy”, who brought great joy into her life. She liked doing her hair and nails and took pride in how she looked. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed having time with her grandchildren.
Melissa was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories they have of her.
A family service will be held Thursday, April 30 at 6 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon.
Friends are encouraged to come by the funeral home to sign the book, and/or leave condolences for the family on this website.
A memorial has been established to the family.
