Melody Sue Pugh (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Melody Sue Pugh, daughter of the late John Wesley and Mary Lue West Pugh, was born, August 5, 1964, in Long Beach, California. She departed this life, Tuesday, September 29, 2015, in her home, Camdenton, Missouri, at the age of fifty-one years, one month and twenty-four days.
Survivors include three sons, Hoyt Robert Mull of Phoenix, Arizona, Patrick Wesley Norris of Camdenton, Missouri, and John Paul Kozicki of Camdenton, Missouri; a granddaughter, Eris Anna Mull, and a host of siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Melody was raised in California and was a graduate of Santa Fe High School in the Class of 1983. She moved to the Lake of the Ozarks twenty years ago to care for her parents. She was a single mom who worked hard and had several different jobs. She was currently working for Sleep Inn in Camdenton.
In her spare time, she loved time spent outdoors, especially kayaking and hiking. She had a knack for photography and spent most of the time behind the lens. She enjoyed playing tennis when time allowed. Most of all, she loved being a mom and grandma. She was a loving mom, grandma, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. She made an impression on those she came in contact with and we will rest assured, her memory will linger on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
