Michael Wayne Baker (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Michael Wayne Baker was born December 4, 1961 to in Aurora, Illinois to Elbert Earl Baker and Sarah Francis Moeley Baker. He passed into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 in Mercy Hospital in Lebanon, Missouri. At the time of his passing, he was sixty-two years, five months and four days of age.
Michael grew up in Beardstown, Illinois and completed his schooling there. On February 14, 2004, he was united in marriage to Charlene. Together they have shared twenty years of happiness and memories.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife, Charlene Baker of the home; a daughter, Kayla Baker; a special grandson, Thomas Hollandsworth of the home; his sister, Judy Griges and her husband Don of Friendship, Tennessee; two brothers, David Baker and his wife Carol and Kevin Baker; and his brothers-in-law, Johnny “Sparky” Reid of Lebanon, Missouri, Homer Reid, Leon Reid and Kenny Reid of Phillipsburg, Missouri and Richard Decker of Washburn, Missouri; a step-daughter, Laura Armstrong and her husband Dalton of Lebanon, Missouri; a step-son, Benjamin Hollandsworth of Phillipsburg, Missouri; and his good friend, Donald Bridges of Phillipsburg, Missouri.
Michael enjoyed fishing and loved going to car races throughout the area.
Family was very important to Michael and he always enjoyed getting together with them on special occasions. His loss is deeply felt by his family and he will be so missed by those who knew and loved him.
A memorial has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
