Michael Clark's Obituary
Michael Clark, partner with Ernst & Young in San Jose, passed away on Tuesday, July 5th. Mike was born and grew up in Mansfield, Missouri and moved to Northern California when he was 10. He attended Humbolt State University and received his master's degree from San Jose State University. He joined Ernst & Young in the San Jose office, where he spent most of his career, with the exception of several years spent in Paris. Mike was admitted to the partnership in 1998. When he returned from Paris he assumed the role of Professional Practice Director for the Pacific Northwest area.
In addition to his great accomplishments in client service, one of Mike's greatest gifts was that of friendship and dedication to those he worked with and his friends at the firm. Many knew Mike as the fun loving, enthusiastic, sarcastic, laughable and always entertaining friend with a quick wit. He brought a lot of laughter and life to just about any situation and was always good for some commentary on just about anything. His spirit and friendship touched many people and will not soon be forgotten.
Mike is survived by his mother Wanda Taylor and was precided in death by his grandparents Carlis and Christeen Newton.
Funeral services for Michael Clark will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011 in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Mansfield, Missouri. Entombment will follow in the Clark Mausoleum of the Mansfield Cemetery.
No formal visitation is scheduled.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Mansfield, Missouri.
