Michael Green (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Michael Lloyd Green, age 41, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at St. John’s Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born April 15, 1969 in Sacramento, California to Michael Eugene Green and Susan Ricketts.
He lived with his parents, Michael & Wanda Green and worked with his father daily at Mike’s TV while starting up a tile contracting business of his own. Michael was a successful retail manager in the Phoenix, Arizona area for 15 years, where he achieved numerous awards, before relocating to Bolivar to be with his family.
Michael had four great passions in his life; his two sons, whom he loved and adored, his work, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and his tattoos.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Ricketts.
Michael is survived by his parents, Michael & Wanda Green of Bolivar, Missouri, his sister, Lisa Green of Petaluma, California, two sons, Cody Green age 16 and Jacob Green age 14 both of Gilbert, Arizona, as well as close relatives in Oregon, California, Arizona, and Montana.
Michael wore his heart on his sleeve and was a kind, gentle spirit, cheerful, friendly and welcoming to everyone. He will be deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
A private memorial service will be held at the family’s home on Thursday, June 24, 2010 with Mr. Jerry Craft officiating. Musical selections will be “Amazing Grace” and “What A Wonderful World”. A visitation will be held from 10:30am-Noon on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri.
