Michael Daniel Marsh (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Michael Daniel Marsh, son of Harvey Francis and Mary Elizabeth Bender Marsh, was born September 20, 1958, in Peoria, Illinois. He departed this life Monday, May 25, 2020, in Cox South Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-one years, eight months, and five days.
He was united in marriage to Rose M. Manuson and they shared the last thirteen years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, David Joseph Marsh.
Michael is survived by his wife, Rose, of Lebanon, Missouri; a stepson, Jason Ellis, of East Peoria, Illinois; three brothers, Tim Marsh and James Marsh, both of Lebanon, Missouri, and Harvey Marsh, of Coppers Cove, Texas; four sisters, Victoria Goggil, Pamela Sue Myers, both of Lebanon, Missouri, Tina Shaner, and her husband, Dave, of Venice, Florida, and Cheryl Horton, and her husband, Carl, of Sebring, Florida; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in East Peoria, Illinois, and lived most of his life there. In 2002, he and Rose moved to Lebanon, Missouri to be near family.
Michael was raised in a Christian family and was always willing to help others.
He liked drinking coffee with his friends at the café and liked to take people for rides. He was very strong willed but had a kind heart.
Michael was a loving husband, step-father, brother, uncle, and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
The family will plan a private service at a later date under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
