Michael McKinney (Camdenton) 's Obituary
Michael Craig McKinney, son of Jerry Gene and Norma Danielson McKinney, was born, June 19, 1953 in McPherson, Kansas. He departed this life, August 3, 2019, in Windsor Estates Care Center, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of sixty-six years, one months and fifteen days.
On July 7, 2002 in Independence, Missouri he was united in marriage to Teresa Kay Holbert. Together they shared seventeen years of marriage.
He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Michael McKinney and grandchildren, Jade Strafford, Alex Monroe, and Liliana Monroe.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa McKinney of Camdenton, Missouri; children, Jeniffer McKinney and Chris McKinney; step-children, Bobby Holbert and wife Amy of Kansas City, Kansas, Michael Monroe of Tulsa Oklahoma, Tiffany Monroe of Camdenton, Missouri, and Shanna Monroe of Camdenton, Missouri; twenty-five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Michael worked for a Computer Company as a technician in South Carolina, Cessna Company and then for a school district in Independence, Kansas.
In his spare time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, swimming and hiking. He enjoyed watching soccer and car racing. He was always offering to lend a hand or an ear to someone in need. Michael enjoyed all the time he got to spend with his family especially his grandchildren.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2019 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
