Michael McNish's Obituary
Michael Lee McNish, Jr., the son of Michael Lee and Debra Lynn (West) McNish, was born December 14, 1974, in Springfield, Missouri. He departed this life Wednesday, September 10, 2008, near New London in Pike County, Missouri, at the age of thirty-three years, eight months, and twenty-seven days. On March 4, 2004, he was united in marriage to Heather Ann Hampton and they made their home in New London, Missouri. Michael was preceded in death by a daughter, Makayla Ann McNish; his paternal grandparents, Bill and Jessie McNish; and his maternal grandparents, Rollan and Delores West. He is survived by his wife, Heather, of New London, Missouri; two sons, Taylor Glenn, of Seymour, Missouri, and Dillan McNish, of New London, Missouri; his parents, Mike and Debbie McNish, of Seymour, Missouri; two brothers, Jason McNish, and his wife, Jessica, and Joey McNish, all of Seymour, Missouri; three nieces, Ashton, Allyson, and Abbygail; one nephew, Jimmy; his godmother, Kay Stoll, of Fordland, Missouri; a number of aunts and uncles; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. Michael was born in Springfield, Missouri, and grew up in Seymour, Missouri, where he attended the Seymour RII Schools. He moved to New London, Missouri, after he and Heather were married. He had worked for Leggett & Platt as a die-caster in Palmyra, Missouri, and was employed by Pallman Towing in New London at the time of his death. He had made his profession of faith in God in his youth at the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Seymour. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his four-wheeler and motorcycle. He especially loved spending time with his sons and family. Michael was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and nephew and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the wonderful memories he has created for his family and dear friends.
