Michael P. Mostyn (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Michael P. Mostyn, 66, of Lebanon, died Sunday afternoon, Feb. 17, 2013 at Christian Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center North in Lebanon.
He was born Dec. 23, 1946 in Waco, Texas to William T. and Bertha Elzey Mostyn, who preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Linda.

On June 29, 2009 he married Linda F. Cable.
He graduated from high school in Waco, Texas as Valedictorian of his class and then attended Baylor University. He entered the U.S. Army and served his country faithfully for several years. He finished college after being honorably discharged from the military, and worked for the Tandy/Gateway Corporation for 30 years in Texas and California. He then lived in Rogers, Ark. for several years. He also worked as an artist and had his paintings in the Texas University Law Library and in the Governor’s Mansion. He was a gourmet cook and an accomplished pianist. Since moving to Missouri, he had been a professor at O.T.C. teaching Computer Science and Psychology.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Cable, of Lebanon; a son, Adam Mostyn, of Dallas, Texas; two stepsons, Seth Cable, of Lebanon, and Dana Hutchinson, of Versailles; also a brother, William Mostyn, of Waco, Texas.
Arrangements for Michael P. Mostyn are under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
Family services will be held at a later date in Texas.
