Michael Thurman (Urbana)'s Obituary
Michael Howard Thurman, son of the late Howard Talbert & Geraldine Mae (Combs) Thurman was born on April 13, 1949 in Independence, MO, and departed this life on June 29, 2018 at his home near Urbana. MO. At the time of his passing he was 69 years of age.
Michael was reared in Independence, MO and graduated from William Christian High School. After graduation he went to work for a tool and die shop. He later worked for ARMCO for several years. He was united in marriage to Linda Sue Frakes in 1968. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and spending as much time as he could riding and working on his motorcycle.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Michael Howard Thurman, Jr. He is survived by his wife Linda of the home; one grandson, Greg & wife Lauren Thurman; and two grandchildren, Aiden and Madelyn Thurman. He also leaves other family members and friends who will all truly miss him.
Cremation rites were accorded under the direction of the Cantlon Otterness & Viets Funeral Home.
