Michael Patrick Triola was born on June 26, 1946, to Richard and Lorraine (Boston) Triola in St. Louis MO and passed away June 12, 2021, at his home in Pittsburg MO.
Michael was united in marriage to Joy Jones on February 16, 2003, and four daughters were brought together by this union. Michael’s family grew to include eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Michael lived in the St. Louis area for the first thirty-seven years of his life before moving to Kansas City, MO where he met his present wife while pursuing a career in the swimming pool retail business. He enjoyed music, singing, and playing the banjo, cooking for friends and family, and always strived to make everyone laugh and enjoy gatherings.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Richard Triola and his mother, Lorraine Triola. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Joy Jones; his two children, Tracy Kelly and Tori Kelly; two stepchildren, Aubrey Johnson and Sabrina Epstien; eight grandchildren, Blake Kelly, Bianca Kelly, Ava Kelly, Samantha Johnson, Travis Johnson, Breanna Johnson, Jacob Epstein, and Brody Epstein; two great-grandchildren, Kit Kelly and Quaid Kelly
A private family celebration will be held at a later date. Cremation rites were accorded under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
