He was preceded in death by his father; his step-father, Richard D. Glass; his maternal grandparents, Paul and Bernadette Shea; and his paternal grandparents, Carl and Gladys Williams.
Michael is survived by his mother, Catherine Glass, of Lebanon, Missouri; two brothers, Steven Williams and Will Williams, both of Lebanon, Missouri; four sisters, Brandy Williams and Crystal Williams, both of Lebanon, Missouri, and April Breeden and Dustie Williams, both of Winter Haven, Florida; a step-brother, John Glass, of Bradley, Illinois; a step-sister, Becky Lamore, of Bradley, Illinois; a number of nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in Kankakee, Illinois and continued to live there until moving to Lebanon, Missouri in the 1990’s. He had worked as a tree trimmer and did lawn maintenance for several years. He became disabled the last four years and wasn’t able to work.
In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were fishing and hunting. He loved having cook outs and entertaining guests in his home. He also liked to eat. He loved his dog “Ghost” and treated him like he was a son. His family was very important to him and he thought of his nieces and nephews as his very own children. He also enjoyed spending time with all his family and friends.
Michael was a loving son, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A memorial has been established and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
