Mickey Waldvogel's Obituary
Mickey Rae Waldvogel, daughter of Carroll “Babe” Wade and Dorlene Reid Johnson, was born May 30, 1948, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, October 27, 2007, in her home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-nine years, four months, and twenty-seven days. She was preceded in death by her father; a sister, Carol Rooks; and her maternal grandparents, Gladys and Ray Reid. Mickey is survived by two sons, Matthew Cunningham, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Jason Waldvogel, of Springfield, Missouri; two grandsons, Nicholas Cunningham, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Jordan Dill, of Springfield, Missouri; her mother, Dorlene Johnson, of Lebanon, Missouri; several cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born and raised in the Lebanon community and was graduated from the Lebanon High School. She then made her home in Las Vegas, Nevada for fifteen years, before returning to Lebanon. Throughout her life, she was a devoted homemaker to her family. Mickey had made her profession of belief in Christ and followed the Freewill Baptist faith. In her spare time she enjoyed collecting angels and crocheting. She was a very caring person who was always willing to help and do things for others. Her family was very important to her and she liked having them around her. Mickey was a loving mother, grandmother, and daughter, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and all that she accomplished and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2007, in the Holman-Howe Chapel, Lebanon. Burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 7 - 8:30 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
