Mike Bailey's Obituary
Mike “Jim” Bailey, son of James and Celia (Wilfield) Bailey, was born February 22, 1932, in Kerens, Texas. He departed this life Sunday, February 15, 2009, in Hartville Care Center, at the age of seventy six years, eleven months, and twenty-three days.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine Bailey; and his parents.
Jim is survived by a number of children, of the state of Texas; a twin brother, of the state of Arizona; a step-sister-in-law, Melissa Anderson, of the state of Arizona; other relatives and many friends.
He was born and raised in Texas and moved to Arizona for a while before moving to Wright County, Missouri. He had worked for Howard Construction and helped the Wynn family on the farm.
Jim had attended the Church of God in Christ.
He was always willing to help others and in his spare time he loved being outdoors and going fishing.
Jim was a kind and caring person, he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the wonderful memories he has created for his family and friends.
Services will be 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 18, 2009 in Holman-Howe Chapel, in Hartville, Missouri, with burial in Steele Cemetery, under direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Hartville. A memorial has been established in care of the funeral home at P.O. Box 236, Hartville, Missouri 65667.
