Milda Iris Hicks (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Milda Iris Hicks, was born May 16, 1949, to Edgar “Frank” & Mae Miller. Milda grew up with her nine siblings; Myran, Maurice, Marilyn, Marion, Merle, Maryanna (Kenneth), Mavis (Bill), Marlene (Richard) and Mark (Kathy). She also lost a sister Bertha, in infancy. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Myran, Maurice, Marilyn and Marion. She was united in marriage and is survived by William “Ralph” Hicks on January 19, 1977, together they shared 48 years and 8 months of marriage. In 1977, they moved to Macks Creek, Missouri, to their family farm, where they still lived at present. Milda had and is survived by three children, Christopher Miller, Carlotta Burns and Willie Hicks (Misty; five grandchildren; Michael (Raine), Matthew, Julia (Dakota), Mylee, and Mackenzie (Hunter); and four great grandchildren; Brandy, Waylon, James, and Cooper. Milda loved to sew and crochet. She enjoyed growing flowers and tending garden in her younger years while she was able. She also was an avid cook and always had a recipe written down to share. Most of all she enjoyed her time with family and having the grandchildren and great grandchildren around. While she will be missed, we know she is home with the Lord rejoicing with family that went before her, and we look forward to the day we will all meet again. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm, Friday, October 17, 2025 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
