Mildred remained calm while Debbie and I ran in and out of her house during the long summer months while we were growing up.
It was a treat to spend time in "the clubhouse" , gossip, chase the kitties, and drink iced tea.
I have the utmost love and respect for all the wonderful women who made growing up in Lebanon a safe and loving experience.
