Misty Deann Lane (Seymour)'s Obituary
Misty Deann Lane, daughter of Terri Baird Lane of Seymour, Missouri, and Michael and Nancy Lane of Ava, Missouri, departed this earthly life Sunday, July 20, 2014, at her home in rural Seymour. Misty was thirty years, nine months and twenty-five days young.
The youngest of three girls, Misty was born September 25, 1983, in Springfield, Missouri. She was raised in Ava and was a graduate of the Ava High School Class of 2002. She was saved and baptized at an early age and attended Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Ava. Misty graduated with an A.S. degree in social work from Drury College in 2013 and was working towards her Bachelor’s degree. She was employed with Wal-Mart in Marshfield, Missouri. Misty’s whole world was her eight year-old daughter, Chloe. Together with her long-time companion, Fred Speicher, the three enjoyed camping, going fishing and barbeques with friends and family. Misty will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother. Misty was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Burrel Baird. She leaves behind her daughter, Chloe; companion, Fred Speicher; mother, Terri Baird Lane; father, Michael Lane and his wife Nancy; sisters, Kelli Ivie and Tracy Lane, both of Seymour; maternal grandmother, Mary Baird of Seymour; paternal grandparents, Hazel and Luther Jackson, and Bob and Edith Lane, all of Ava; aunts, uncles, cousins and many more extended family and friends.
The "Misty Lane Memorial Fund" has been established at The Seymour Bank. Memorials may also be given at the funeral home.
