Mitch was born in Sedalia, Missouri, raised in a military family and moved around quite a bit. His family lived in Japan several years and in many locations in the United States. He graduated from Warsaw High School in 1977 and then attended Mizzou in Columbia studying agriculture. He ended his education at State Fair Community College in Sedalia. After he graduated college, he lived at home with his parents and worked at a local gas station until he started working for George Kiser and Son Plumbing. He was gifted at plumbing and running a ditch witch installing underground cable. Mitch was married, lived in Lincoln, Missouri and shared in the birth of his beautiful daughter, Brooke. He then changed jobs and worked for a plumbing/roto rooter service in Sedalia. That position and his new employers gave him the opportunity to be hired by the City of Sedalia as City Inspector. He moved to Sedalia and continued working as City Inspector for over ten years. Mitch and Donna later moved to Hartville and have made many friends since.
Mitch was a member at the Elk Creek Baptist Church. He cherished the friends and memories he made every Sunday with his Church family and in the Community.
Mitch enjoyed watching sports, especially the Chiefs and Royals and of course, tailgating at Chiefs Stadium. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Most importantly, Mitch loved spending time with his family whenever he had the chance. He was a loving father, brother, and caring friend. We celebrate his wonderful life and we will always cherish the many happy memories he created.
