Mollie Pearl Barker (Seymour)'s Obituary
Mollie Pearl (Blankenship) Barker, age 89 a life long Seymour, Missouri resident, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield following a lingering illness. She was born on October 8, 1928, one of seven children of George Blankenship and Verba (Holiman) Blankenship. On August 7, 1949 in Seymour Missouri at the home of Rev. Walter Goss, she was united in marriage to Wayne D. Barker. Mollie had worked for a time as a telephone switchboard operator in Seymour and later at HD Lee in Seymour until their closing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Surviving Mollie is her husband of 68 years, Wayne, of the home as well as several nieces and nephews.
