Monda Rose Harris (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Monda Rose Siegenthaler Harris, 82, passed away April 22, 2024 in Lebanon, Missouri after a courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy and Parkinsons. She went home to the Lord with her family surrounding her in love.
Monda was born March 27, 1942, to Earl Siegenthaler and Luella (Coleman) Dodson in Cass County, Missouri. She lived most of her life in Harrisonville and graduated with the class of 1960.
April 16,1967 Monda married Joe Harris and they had Leona, Lois, and Laura. Monda worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for several companies and babysat numerous children out of her home.
She had a love of antiques and was able to use her knowledge as manager at the Trade Fair in Harrisonville for several years and worked in estate sales. Monda kept herself busy with sewing, quilting, gardening, cooking, and reading. She loved to go to garage sales, flea markets, and antiquing as she was always on the hunt for a new treasure.
Besides her love for Joe and her three girls, one of her greatest loves was for her grandkids and great grand babies. Her arms were always open for hugs, rocking, and snuggles. She cooked family meals for a crowd as if it was a banquet for a king. Her door was always open for family and all her three girl’s and grandkid’s friends. They were all made to feel welcome and at home.
Monda was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Bill Siegenthaler and Milton Siegenthaler
She is survived by her husband Joe, three daughters, Leona (Jerry) Uppencamp, Lois Harris, and Laura (Dean) Rippeto; five grandchildren, Trevor (Allura) Sanders, Cheyanne (Anthony) Saputo, Emily (Mason) Rippeto, Christopher (Kali) Rippeto, and Tayler Uppencamp. She also leaves four great- grandchildren, Everett and Amelia Sanders, and Giovanni and Gabriele Saputo; her brother Steven (Annetta) Siegenthaler, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly and will cherish all the memories each have of her.
