Monica Rojas (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Monica Anastacia Rojas was born October 29, 1941, in the country of Nicaragua. She departed this life Wednesday, November 22, 2017, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of seventy-six years, one month, and twenty-four days.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Rojas.
Monica is survived by a daughter , Maria Tribble, and her husband, Richard, of Richland, Missouri; three grandchildren, Anthony Tribble, and his wife Lisa, of Englewood, Colorado, Louis Tribble, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Frank Tribble, of Lebanon, Missouri; a great-grandchild , Adyline Tribble; a brother, Miguel Angel Rojas, of Nicaragua; three sisters, Maria Rojas Medina, Nery Rojas Medina, and Etelvina Rojas Reyes, all of Nicaragua; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born in Nicaragua and later moved to Costa Rica for five years. In 1993, Monica moved to the Lebanon area. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was also devoted to helping her daughter, Maria, raise her children.
Monica attended St. Frances DeSales Catholic Church. She was very involved in the church community and loved attending with her family.
In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. She was described by others as having a prayerful heart and cared about those around her. She was also very fond of her family back in Nicaragua.
Monica was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
