Morene Gifford (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Morene Gifford James , 72, of Bolivar, MO passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Jefferson Healthcare in Lee's Summit, MO surrounded by her family and loved ones. Born May 14, 1944, in Chelsea, MA, to Stanley Miteel and Yesime Dadgett Miteel. Morene was known as a generous and extremely selfless person who always put others feelings and needs before her own. She loved her family and being around them but sometimes could appear to love her pets just a tad more. She spent most of her adult life working at home as a mom and farm wife. Along with her joy of pets and animals she enjoyed gardening. She is survived by her sons, Todd Heier and his wife Beth, Kevin James, Billy James and his wife Jackie and Grant James; grandchildren Devin Heier and his wife Anketta, Kelsly Heier and Paul, James; brothers Tim Tew and John Tew. The family will be holding a private family service at a later time. The family request no flowers and that donations be made to Village Hospice of Lee's Summit, MO or to the Polk County Humane Society.
