Myrtle M. Rambo (Seymour)'s Obituary
Myrtle Margaret Rambo, daughter of John Robert and Mary Saphronia Flannery Owens was born February 10, 1921 in Diggins, Missouri and departed this life on Thursday, November 27, 2014 in Glenwood Healthcare Center in Seymour, Missouri at the age of ninety-three years, nine months and seventeen days.
Myrtle was united in marriage to Chester Raymond Rambo on July 21, 1943 and to this union six children were born. Chester preceded her in death on December 8, 1991. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Ralph Rambo, three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by a son, Ronnie Rambo and his wife, Connie of Diggins, Missouri; four daughters, Carolyn Hyde and her husband, Mike of Seymour, Missouri, Connie McDonell and her husband Donnie of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Kathy Schultz and her husband, Sam of Rogersville, Missouri, Diana Harding and her husband Gerald of Rogersville, Missouri; ten grandchildren; a multitude of great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law JoAnn Rambo of Seymour, and a host of other relatives and friends. Myrtle was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In her spare time she enjoyed tending to her garden every summer, was a talented quilter and loved her bluegrass and gospel music. Myrtle was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and will always cherish the many good times we had with her.
