Nancy Breedlove (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Nancy Kay Breedlove, daughter of Howard Fred and Velma Ann Martin Shumate, was born January 9, 1977, in Olathe, Kansas. She departed this life Friday, May 3, 2013, in her home, near Lynchburg, Missouri, at the age of thirty-six years, three months, and twenty-four days.
On February 4, 2007, she was united in marriage to Daniel Brian Breedlove, and they shared the last six years.
Her mother preceded her in death.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Daniel, of the home; a daughter, Ashley Young, of Eldridge, Missouri; a son, Michael Carson, of Marshfield, Missouri; her father, Howard Shumate, of Lebanon, Missouri; three brothers, David Shumate, and his wife, Miwako, of Lebanon, Missouri, Michael Shumate, and his wife, Tina, of Springfield, Missouri, and Chris Shumate, of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister, Pat Herrman, her husband, Donald, of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in the Lebanon, Missouri area and attended Lebanon R-III Schools. She was involved in the Lebanon High School Band during her high school days. She and Daniel had made their home in the Lynchburg area for the last six years. Nancy was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family.
Nancy had made her profession of faith in Christ and attended Roby Assembly of God Church.
In her spare time she enjoyed being outdoors where her favorite activities were hunting and fishing. She possessed a delightful sense of humor and a very generous heart. She loved her family dearly and liked having them around her.
Nancy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and many friends.
A memorial has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
