Nancy Bruner (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Nancy Ann (Kelly) Bruner, age 54 of Louisburg, Missouri departed this life on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Nancy was born on August 2, 1959 in Iola, Kansas, the daughter of David Gary Kelly and Barbara Lorene (Johnson) Kelly.
1st and foremost, Nancy was a NAVY Mom; she was very proud of her son Joe and his service in the Navy. Nancy worked for the MFA in Springfield, Missouri for 18 years as a Seed Warehouse Manager. In addition to her regular responsibilities; Nancy was also a wonderful homemaker.
On April 11, 1992, Nancy was united in marriage to Virgil Bruner in Sweet Springs, Missouri. Nancy and Virgil enjoyed spending time together. Some of their fondest memories were made while fishing and simply enjoying each other’s company. The two would often take trips to Canada to fish for Northern Pike and Walleye, and to Bull Sholes Lake to troll for Large Mouth Bass. Nancy also loved to hunt wild turkey and whitetail deer. Anyone that knew Nancy would know that she loved spending time outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Kelly and a nephew, Michael Kelly.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Virgil Bruner of the home; mother, Barbara Kelly of Marshfield, Missouri; son, Joe Ihrig and his wife Holly of Moore, Oklahoma; son-in-law, John R. Clemons of Fair Play, Missouri; sister, Debbie Beck and her husband Terry of Chanute, Kansas; brother, Richard Kelly of Marshfield, Missouri; sister, Cherry Gregg and her husband Rob of Potem, Missouri and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that mourn her passing.
