Nancy K. Griffin (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Nancy Kay Griffin, daughter of Henry Roy and Mildred Lucille Chaney Griffin, was born November 22, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri. She departed this life Sunday, July 26, 2015, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-two years, eight months, and four days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Robert McKenzie.
Nancy is survived by two daughters, Doris Kay Moore, and her husband, Kelly, of Hartville, Missouri, and Angela Teubner, and her husband, John, of Lebanon, Missouri; six grandchildren, Karen Bryson, and her husband, Jason, of Hartville, Missouri, Trenton Teubner, and his wife, Kayla, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, Brandon Moore, of Springfield, Missouri, Ashley Teubner, Jessica Teubner, and Krissie Teubner, all of Lebanon, Missouri; six great-grandchildren, Bethany Burgess, Kaeden Teubner, Kaedence Logan, Bentley Teubner, Elliot Teubner, and Mason Bryson; her mother-in-law, Dottie Ruth Mace; several nieces and nephews, including Patricia Diane McKenzie, who was like a daughter to Nancy; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and then moved with her family to Lebanon when she was a teenager. She attended Lebanon R-III Schools and was part of the Lebanon High School Marching 100 Band. Throughout the years, Nancy was a devoted homemaker to her family and also worked for the H. D. Lee Company for several years. She currently was employed by Regal Beloit Corporation in Lebanon.
In her spare time she enjoyed thrift store shopping with her grandchildren, and dancing. Her family was very dear to her and she especially treasured time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, aunt, niece, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
A memorial has been established and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
