Early in her life she was united in marriage to Larry Dean Payne, who preceded her in death on March 30, 2004.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lester Warren; and a sister, Hazel Williams.
Nancy is survived by a son, Joe Payne, of Lebanon, Missouri; a daughter, Cecilia Warren, and her fiancé, Kirby Crisp, of Lebanon, Missouri; two grandchildren, Austin and Ethan Warren; two sisters, Carolyn Luttrell, and her husband, Dennis, of Brumley, Missouri, and Margaret Steinbach, of Roby, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; a dear friend, Susan Randolph; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in the Falcon community, attended Gasconade C-4 Schools and graduated from Lebanon High School. After she and Larry were married, they made their home in the Lebanon area, and lovingly raised their children. Nancy worked as a long haul truck driver for Prime, Inc. for several years, and then drove a taxicab for Town and Country Taxi Service.
Nancy was raised in the Falcon Baptist Church and then later, because of health reasons, she attended South Five Church of Christ in Lebanon.
In her spare time she enjoyed working in her garden and growing beautiful flowers. She had a very generous and kind heart and always had her door open to her family and friends. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed having time with her grandchildren.
Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them throughout the years.
