Nancy Peerboom's Obituary
Nancy Ellen Peerboom, daughter of Albion Sheridan and Frances Butler Bartlett, was born May 27, 1935, in Bath, Maine. She departed this life Tuesday, August 26, 2008, in Christian Health Care South, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-three years, two months, and twenty-nine days. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Charles Peerboom, who passed away in 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Nancy is survived by two daughters, Wendy Boudreau, of Kingman, Arizona, and Pamela Kichline, of Manchester, New Hampshire; three sons, Mark Kichline, of Phoenix, Arizona, Kevin Kichline, of Union City, Tennessee, and Edward Peerboom, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; a stepson, Michael Peerboom, of Scottsdale, Arizona; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Edward Bartlett, and his wife, Rhonda, of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister, Grace Hay, and her husband, Richard, of Ephrata, Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born in Maine, and was raised in Maine and Connecticut. She then made her home in various locations from coast to coast throughout the years. In addition to being a devoted homemaker to her family, she also worked as a bank teller wherever she was living. After retiring, she moved to Lebanon, Missouri about four years ago. Nancy had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Unity Freewill Baptist Church in Lebanon. In her spare time she enjoyed doing oil paintings, working puzzles, playing cards and knitting. She also liked playing the piano. She always put others first in her life and never complained. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed spending time with them. Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends. Memorial services will be 7:00 pm on Friday August 29, 2008 at the Unity Freewill Baptist Church under the direction of the Holman- Howe Funeral Home Lebanon, Missouri.A memorial has been established to the Unity Freewill Baptist Church and donations may be made through the funeral home.
