Naomi Ruth Willey (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Naomi Ruth Willey of Lebanon, Missouri, was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 20, 2023. She was born January 23, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Roy H. McKenzie and Leona Ernst. At the time of her passing, Naomi was eighty-two years, six months and twenty-eight days of age.
Naomi spent her early years in Cincinnati and then moved to St. Louis, Missouri with her parents where she would live most of her life. On October 2, 1956, she was united in marriage to James Willey. She shared nearly sixty years together before he passed on March 18, 2016.
Naomi is survived by her son, Brian Willey and his wife, Kimberly of Hillsboro, Missouri; a granddaughter, Brianna Willey and her husband, Wesley Plymale of Hillsboro, Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Cole and Austin; and her sister, Sharon Griffiths of Percy, Illinois.
Naomi followed the Pentecostal faith and loved serving her Lord and Savior. After moving to Lebanon, Missouri, she could be found volunteering at the Hughes center in Lebanon. She made many friends there and enjoyed time she spent there.
She also liked to go shopping, either by herself or whoever she could get to tag along. Most of all she loved spending time with her granddaughter and great-grandsons. They were the light in her life and being with them and watching them grow was so fulfilling and exciting to her.
Naomi lived a full life and leaves a legacy of love for God and her family. The stories of her life will be remembered and cherished for years to come.
Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience through Wednesday, Aug. 23, at the funeral home.
