Nathan Cornelison (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Nathan Daniel Cornelison, son of Mark A. and Jacquelyn B. Brittain Cornelison, was born September 16, 1988, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He departed this life Wednesday, April 6, 2011, in his home, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of twenty-two years, six months, and twenty days.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Janet Brittain; his maternal grandfather, Al Cruz, Jr.; and his paternal grandmother, Joan Cornelison.
Nathan is survived by his father, Mark Cornelison, and his wife, Bonnie, of Lebanon, Missouri; his mother, Jacquelyn Cruz, and her husband, Al, III., of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother, Matthew Cornelison, of Lebanon, Missouri; two step-brothers, Joey and Jamie Torrence, of Lebanon, Missouri; his maternal grandfather, Jack Brittain, of Lebanon, Missouri; his maternal grandmother, Kay Cruz, of Lebanon, Missouri; his paternal grandfather, Marchie Cornelison, of Lebanon, Missouri; his paternal grandparents, Howard and Algie Edwards, of Lebanon, Missouri; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; a special friend, Dorothy Stas, of Springfield, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He lived most of his life in the Lebanon area, and attended Lebanon Public Schools. He then attended Missouri Military Academy in Mexico, Missouri. He currently was living in Springfield and was attending Ozark Technical Community College, with a dedication to become a journalist.
Nathan had professed his faith in Christ at Heritage Baptist Temple in Lebanon.
In his spare time he enjoyed listening to music, skate boarding, and riding motorcycles and dirt bikes. He had a good heart and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Nathan was a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, and cousin, and was a caring friend. In his brief twenty-two years, he created many wonderful memories which his family will treasure in their hearts.
