Nellie Jane Turner (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Nellie Jane Turner, daughter of the late George and Leola (Searcy) Robie was born on September 23, 1930 in Long Lane, MO and departed this life on November 17, 2020 in Buffalo, MO. At the time of her passing she was 90 years, one month, and 23 days of age.
Nellie married Bill Turner in 2005. She had professed her faith in the lord and attended Buffalo Freewill Baptist Church while her health permitted.
Nellie was preceded in death by her husband Bill; her parents; four sisters, Louise, Lillian, Pearl, and Abby; and one brother, George Robie. She is survived by one son, Jackie and wife Brenda Turner; two grandkids, Bridget and husband Shane Shockley and Dustin and wife Brandi Turner; three great-grandchildren, Julie and husband Zack Owen, Grant Shockley, and Gracie Turner; and two great-great-grandsons, Reid and Tucker Owen. She also leaves other family members and many friends who will all truly miss her.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2020 in the Macedonia Cemetery with Bro. Brad Duff officiating. Music will be provided by Julie Owen. Services are under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Macedonia Cemetery Fund.
