Noble Merritt's Obituary
Noble D. Merritt passed away in his home on Saturday, August 28, 2010 after a short illness. The son of Everett and Easter Detherage Merritt was born September 24, 1942 on the family farm in Douglas County, Missouri.
He is survived by one daughter, Angela Bingham who lived with and cared for him until his death; two sons, Bob Merritt and wife Lena of Seymour and Everett Merritt and wife Dawn of Willow Springs; 9 grandchildren; two brothers, Olen Merritt and wife Tosie of LaBelle, Missouri and Herb Merritt and wife Mary Ella of Independence, Missouri as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
Noble had many different jobs over the years including a gas truck driver, electrician and plumber. He retired from Hutchens Steel Processors after 33 years of service.
In 1976 Noble made a profession of faith in Christ and gave his life to the Lord.
In his spare time he enjoyed farming, fishing and visiting with his family and friends.
A wake will be held at noon on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Noble’s home south of Mansfield with refreshments being served. At 4:00 P.M. that afternoon a wake will be held at his hunting cabin/bus on his farm south of Mansfield
