Noel E. Harris (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Noel Elsworth Harris laid down his working tools and received his heavenly reward on September 21st at 6:43am, peacefully in his home with his bride of 55 years by his side. Noel was born on October 18, 1939 in Paragould, Arkansas to Elmer and Elsie Harris. Noel had one older sister, Evelyn Janette Kitchen. Noel graduated high school from Hialeah Senior High School in Florida. After high school, Noel worked in the automotive industry and eventually owned a Harley Davidson dealership in St Ann, Missouri. Noel was a 50 year brother in both the Masons and the Shriners. Noel met his wife Linda in 1968, when she had a complaint about the service in her car. Noel and Linda were joined in marriage in 1970, where they stayed faithful the remainder of his life. His wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were his greatest accomplishments and was always bragging about them every chance he could. Noel had many passions in life. He was an avid movie fan, a pilot, a car aficionado, and a cowboy. Noel loved team penning/team sorting with his horse Forrest, where he received many awards. Noel loved his country, his family, and John Wayne! Noel was proceeded in death by his parents and sister. Noel is survived by his wife, Linda in Bolivar, Missouri. His cousins John and Connie Shasteen of Rogers, Arkansas. His son Greg Harris of Warrenton, Missouri, son Dean Harris of Maryland Heights, Missouri, son Aaron and wife Janet Harris of St. Peters, Missouri, son Raymond Harris of Greenfield, Missouri, and daughter Brenda and husband Bryan Glaser of Bolivar, Missouri. Grandson Lucas Harris, grandson Kyle Harris, granddaughter Felicia Harris, granddaughter Holly and husband Jarae Young, grandson Anthony and wife Bailey Harris, grandson Nick Harris, granddaughter Sydney Harris, granddaughter Madison Harris and granddaughter Annalee Glaser. Great granddaughter Leah Harris and great grandson Liam Harris. There will never be another husband, father, PaPa, friend or cowboy like Noel. Services for Noel will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Butler Funeral Home. A visitation will be held 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Butler Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the Vandalia Cemetery, Vandalia, MO.
