She was born and raised in Wyoming, and then moved with her family to Lebanon, Missouri, when she was four years old. She lived most of her adult years in Lebanon except from 1976 until 1989, when she followed her husband to California. While in California, she worked for the Good Shepherd Home for the Disabled. After returning to Lebanon, she worked at the Laclede Development Center until retiring when she was eighty years old. Throughout the years, was also a devoted homemaker to her husband and family.
Norma was a charter member of Mount Olivet Assembly of God and she possessed a deep abiding faith in her Lord and Savior.
Her family was always at the center of her life and she also loved working with disabled people. She was rather stoic and had a dry sense of humor. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Norma was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she made for them during her lifetime.
