Norma J. Eckhoff (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Norma J. Eckhoff passed away at the age of 81 in Parkview Care Center after a battle with Parkinson’s. Norma was born on March 25, 1933 to Ferrell and Edna (Griffin) Courtney. Norma lived most of her young life in the Aldrich area. After graduating from Fair Play HS she married Lester Neil. From that union she had two children Thomas Neil and Lester Neil (died at birth). After her husband Lester passed away in 1974 she meet Lloyd Eckhoff. They were married in 1986.
Norma lived and worked in Bolivar for many years. She worked in the Pantsmaker Factory until the closing of the business. She then started working for the Bolivar Walmart until her retirement at the age of 74. Norma and husband Lloyd moved to a farm north of Wheatland.
She is survived by her husband Lloyd Eckhoff, son Thomas Neil and wife Donna, Niece Donna Courtney of Phoenix, Lloyd’s children, Veronica, Rob, Amy, and their families.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lester, son, and brother Elmore Courtney.
