Norma Faye Reynolds (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Norma Faye Reynolds, age 91, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away May 10, 2013 at a care facility in Amarillo. She was a long time resident of Bolivar.
Norma was born on August 7, 1921 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Andrew Benjamin Proffitt and Ida May (Witt) Proffitt. After graduating high school she attended college and later married John Paul Reynolds. They attended church at Coon Creek in Collins and later First Baptist Church in Bolivar. At these churches Norma made many friends that she cherished dearly. After John’s passing, Norma moved to Amarillo to be closer to her family. She greatly enjoyed quilting, cross stitching, and making lovely afghans. She also loved to support and host missionaries.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband John Paul Reynolds.
She is survived by four sons; David, and his wife Cookie, of Oklahoma; Paul and his wife Pat, of Colorado; Richard and wife Christina, of Texas; and Kenneth and wife Flo, of Alabama; Five Grandchildren and several Step-Grandchildren; and seven Great-Grandchildren and numerous Step-Great-Grandchildren.
