After she and Merl were married, they lived in Springfield, Missouri for twenty years, and then made their home near Conway, where they lovingly finished raising their children. Throughout the years, Norma was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family.
Norma made her profession of faith in Christ and was baptized at the High Street Baptist Church in Springfield. Through the years, she maintained a deep abiding faith in Christ that helped sustain her.
She enjoyed taking care of her family and liked cooking, crocheting, and quilting. She was a wonderful hostess and enjoyed all of the holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Easter, when she would have a lunch and an Easter egg hunt. She was a little bit sassy but was filled with love, and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She also always had a remedy for every illness. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Norma was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
