Norman Eugene Hutchison (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Norman Eugene Hutchison was born on August 17, 1926 in Yale, Iowa to Aaron F. and Audrey (Akins) Hutchison.
On Sunday, May 27, 2012 at age 85 he passed away after a short illness at Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar, Missouri.
Norman was raised in the Bolivar area and attended Bolivar High School where he met Betty June Martin. They were married on October 27, 1946 and to this union one daughter, Connie Diane, was born.
Norman was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and served in the Americal Division from 1944-1946 in the Philippines and Japan. Norman was a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and served as a deacon for many years.
He worked for MFA in Bolivar in his younger years, and he worked for True Value Hardware Store in Springfield, Missouri for many years before his retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents; Aaron and Audrey, his wife; Betty, one cherished granddaughter; Jodi Henderson Suber, and a beloved friend; Frances Hendrickson.
Norman is survived by his daughter; Connie Henderson and her husband Mike, two cherished granddaughters; Rebecca McLennan and her husband Andrew, Michelle Mull , and two very special great-grandsons; Aaron and Jordan Mull.
He is also survived by a special “Second Family”; Marilyn and Dave Bamber, Derek and Jenny Hendrickson and their children, Molly, Will, and Maggie, Eric and Kristi Coburn and their children Bailey and Jack, and many more dear friends and relatives. Norman will be greatly missed.
