Nub was born and raised in Hartville where he started a family. He worked many odd jobs before he retired in 2006 from the Union. Just to name a few, he was a brick layer, farmer, asphalt worker, logger, and construction worker. He truly was a jack of all trades. He loved to go hunting and fishing. He never came out of the woods or off the water without a good story to tell. You never saw him without a smile on his face, and he could talk your leg off about nothin.
Nub was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was a caring neighbor and friend—he would give you the shirt off his back if you ask. We celebrate his life, numerous accomplishments, and we will treasure the abundant memories he has created for his family and friends.
