We send our most sincere condolences to all of you on the loss of your Mother. We are representing three of the children that your parents once babysat. Jimmy Dale, Sally and Amanda McQueen is how you would remember them. They lived across the street from you and Sally would always ask if we had heard or seen Mrs. Houser Their mother was Rose Bradshaw. We were blessed to have met your parents too, and they were absolutely amazing inspirations to all of us. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you.

She was an amazing women. She was soft spoken and kind. I adored her for her strength and how she never let her handicap stop her from doing anything she wanted to do. Her smile was special and one that leaves a mark on a heart. Fly sweet lady for now you are free, for the beauty of Heaven you will now see!

Married into the family Orpha became my grandmother. Even not by blood she was as close as any grandmother could be, and the love she showed my children, her great-grandchildren brought on a very remarkable bond never to be lost. Grandma Houser you are loved so deeply and by so many that you will Never be forgotten!

She kept the family together for a long time. We weren't allowed to fight as children and I don't remember mom and dad ever fighting. Mom would always say there was no sense in it and I agree. It's too bad that that was lost.

Mom always tried to be fair to everyone. That was very important to her. I think to ignore these two basic characteristics would be to ignore the core of who she was.

So saying, I think it's only right to mention that she was preceded in death by her biological father and my daughter, Charis Rebekah Houser-Perry as well. Mom knew her father and knew of his family but never had the chance to know them. That whole situation made her who she was so I'll honor her in this way. She loved little children and babies. It is good that she now has the chance to know my little girl.

I can't begin to explain what effect both Otis and Orpha had on me. I remember Otis taking me out and helping me get my first CB equipment. I always loved Orpha more than she knew. As a kid, its hard to tell someone how you feel. She was more than just my mother-in-law. She was so independent and proud and always had my respect. Even after Becky and I divorced, she would still make me my favorite pumpkin pies. I've lost touch these last few years and I regret that. I know that she and Otis are happy, together again,(he is probably playing a fiddle). My prayers and sympathy go out to all. I am so glad I was a part of her family.
