Orville Culbertson (Boilvar)'s Obituary
Orville Culbertson, 88 of Fair Play, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Truman Lake Manor Nursing Facility in Lowry City, Missouri. One of five children Orville was 16 when he married the love of his life Wanda on May 28, 1951. To this union four sons were born. Richard, Randy, Mickey, and Don. They were married for 69 years and lived in the Fair Play area for the better part of their married life. Orville was saved as a young man, Orville was a charter member of the Bolivar Pentecostal Church of God. Orville served as deacon for many year. Orville worked in construction for many years before he opened Culbertson's Garage. He was mechanic until he retired. Orville had 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and several others that called him grandpa. Orville was preceded in death by his parents,
his wife, Wanda, three brothers, Bob, Richard, and Norman; two grandsons, Michael, and Ronnie and two great granddaughters, Chasity, and Kaitlyn. He is survived by his four sons, Richard (Debra) Culbertson of Fair Play, Randy (Kay) Culbertson of Fair Play, Mickey (Lou) Culbertson of Fair Play, and Don (Millie) Culbertson of Rogersville, MO; sisters, Wanetta Edgington, of Oklahoma; sisters in law, Shirley McCormick of Ozark, and Freda King of Springfield, MO and numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Funeral services for Orville will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 4, 2023 at the the Bolivar Pentecostal Church of God in Bolivar, MO. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to services from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Burial will follow services in the Barren Creek Cemetery.
