Otha Bunch's Obituary
Otha Lee Bunch, daughter of Jesse Sterling and Mary Ann Meads Eidson, was born Sunday, July 11, 1928, in Macks Creek, Missouri. She departed this life Thursday, February 12, 2009, in Windsor Estates, Camdenton, Missouri, at the age eighty years, seven months and one day. On February 24, 1946 in Macks Creek, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Jean Milton Bunch and to this union three daughters were born. Together they shared fifty-six years, until his passing in March of 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James Allen and Silas “Baint” Eidson; a sister, Maxine Gould and two grandchildren, Darrell Lindsey and Lorri Bailey. Survivors include her daughters, Joyce Hoskins of Macks Creek, Missouri, Jeanne Lindsey and husband Galen of Urbana, Missouri and Paula Eccles and husband Tony of Ponca City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Jessi Smith and husband Chris of Camdenton, Missouri, Eddy Hoskins of Macks Creek, Missouri, Tom Lindsey and Amy Bostwick and husband Tim all of Urbana, Missouri, and David, Stephanie and Kayla Eccles all of Ponca City, Oklahoma; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; a brother, Carl W. Eidson and wife Loveta of Macks Creek, Missouri and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Otha Lee made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and fabric painting. In her younger years, she always grew beautiful flower gardens. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Otha Lee was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and was a caring neighbor and friend. We are thankful for the many wonderful memories she created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday February 16, 2009 at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until time of service at the church under the direction of the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home Camdenton, Missouri. Return to top
