Owen Wayne Davis (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Owen Wayne Davis, age 72, of Phillipsburg, Missouri passed away on February 3, 2025, at his home.
Owen was born on May 29, 1952, in Ava, Missouri to the late Edmond “Ed” Davis and Gail (Kunze) Williams. In August of 1969, Owen joined the United States Army, serving until July of 1971. On October 24, 1987, Owen was united in marriage to Amy Sartin in Springfield, Missouri. Owen enjoyed watching basketball and Kansas City Chiefs football. Owen enjoyed collecting trinkets and woodworking.
Owen was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Gregory Berkely, Ed Davis, Joy Leavitt, Clifton Davis, and Jerry Davis, and daughter Elizabeth Davis. Owen is survived by his wife Amy Davis, children Jacob Davis, James Young, and Victoria Davis, grandchildren Lacie Young and Jardan Young, siblings Lyle Davis, Gloria Cross, Lori Davis, and Misty Bridwell, nephew Michael Ard and wife Rachel, great niece Jessica Ard, and great nephews David Ard, Christopher Ard, and Justin Ard.
In accordance with Owen’s wishes, there will be no formal service.
Cremation rites have been entrusted to Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home, Buffalo, Missouri.
